Maybe it’s a little bit late to write about me owned a new iPhone because I have already purchased it on 28 February 2010. Yes, my iPhone is still 12 days old. This iPhone is replacing my old mobile phone which is Nokia 3110c. An old mobile phone which is purchased on 7 February 2008.

Hmm, are you wondering why I still remember when did I bought my mobile? Well, I don’t put any memo for it. It’s just because I remember that I bought it right on the Chinese New Year on 2008. Since I won’t use my old 3110c, I give it to my youngest sister.

When the first time I use my iPhone, it’s just like a phone with a superior touch screen, compass functionality, GPS and any other standard feature that owned by this iPhone. Luckily, the staff at the Oke Shop where I purchased this iPhone is generously asked me if I want to add some applications, games and songs for my iPhone. He is also asked me to update my firmware for free.

Without hesitate and enough knowledge with iPhone things, I’m saying “yes, why not”. My iPhone is released on 2009 week 39 with firmware 3.1.1 at that moment.

That day, I’m feeling happy because I’m going to have much fun with my new iPhone. Not quite long, my iPhone firmware is updated into 3.1.3 and filled with apps, games and songs. However… that happiness gone after I realize that the new firmware can’t be jailbreak. An iPhone which is not jailbreak’ed wont be able to perform more and showing all the inner strength.

Not only that, synchronization between iPhone and computer can only be done by using iTunes which is quite annoying for me. As we know (or as your information if you didn’t know) iTunes is only sell an original things. While there are lots of super interesting apps and cracked apps for iPhone. Well, what can I say now… It’s useless to feeling down at the moment. What can I do now is just be happy because even though my iPhone still “virgin” it has quite much apps and games from iTunes which is I purchased with a cheap price.

As the time goes on, I believe there will be a way to jailbreak my iPhone. When that time come, I’ll utilize my iPhone more than what I do with my iPhone at this moment.

I’m really happy for owned an iPhone. However, I just dislike the USB cable used to charge the battery or transfer the data from iPhone to computer. It’s just too short.

Have you ever think about what is special today? Well, if you think about it there will be lots of answer depends on your way of thinking. From my point of view, everyday is special because it won’t happen again. So many things which are happen can be categorized as special. The question is “Are you categorize it as special or not?”

So what is special for me today?

Well, I think today is special because I’m going to announce my new blog. This new blog is using Indonesian language (well, basically I’m Indonesian) and it will consist a lots of story. The article will more likely been seen on other places around the world. You might have seen the article from books, webs, newspapers, magazines, emails and many more. The first Idea when I make this blog is I want to archive lots of good stories.

What stories that will be available in that blog?

Well, any good short story will be there. I will update it daily or anytime I can update it. That blog will have story about love, wise stories, stories based on true experience, stories that can motivate your life, joke stories, story about the value of life and many more.

Where is the blog?

Well, this is the question that I’m waiting for. You can find the blog at http://reeleks.wordpress.com. It’s just a blog for you to relaxing your mind from your current activity. Hopefully it does also can help you to relieve your stress even though it’s just for a moment. Well it won’t hurt much right since it’s also not going to waste your time much by read one of the article. If you do not understand Indonesian language, I’m suggesting you to open this blog by using help from Google translator. Yes, I know that the translator sometime can become weird. But at least I hope the main point of the article is not changed hehe.

Today (October 2, 2009) seems to be a normal day. But it isn’t especially for us Indonesian people. Today we are celebrating Batik Day as recognized by UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization). That’s mean, the world were also recognized Batik as a world heritage from Indonesia.

This special day were caused by several problem that exist lately and this problem becoming bigger and bigger. The problem is because Malaysian keeps claiming our (Indonesian) culture. There are lots of Indonesian properties (culture, island, food, etc) claimed by Malaysia. Those lists are:

1. Pendet dance from Bali
2. Batik from Java
3. Jemur Island which is located in the Strait of Malacca
4. Cendol from Jakarta
5. Rasa Sayang’e song from Maluku
6. Gamelan a musical instruments from java
7. Angklung from West Java
8. Reog from Ponorogo, Java
9. Wayang Kulit from Java

Well, this is not all the list of Indonesian property that claimed and stolen by Malaysia. I believe there are more than these. Please tell me to correct it and also please give me the evidence if I post something wrong. I’m also a human and I can make a mistake too. You can also add other Indonesian properties that claimed by Malaysia and haven’t been added to the list. Don’t forget to give the source of your inputs too hehe.

OK, let’s returning to the Batik which is stated in the beginning of this post. I’m as an Indonesian was also proud of Batik. That’s why I also wearing this cloth even tough I’m rarely using it. Usually I prefer wearing a normal shirt. This symptom was not only happening to me. It is also happening to lots of people in Indonesia. My friends stated about “using batik”, “happy batik day”, “let’s wear batik” and many more in their Facebook status. I haven’t checked my twitter however; I believe it’s also happening in twitter.

In Mitrais (my office) I can see my colleagues wearing Batik too even though not all of them are wearing Batik. But one thing for sure, this is not usual and my managers were also wearing Batik. For those who still didn’t know, I’d like to tell you that this blog is about 1 month old. And for the owner of every site who is willing to build a good traffic and rank, it’s obvious that we will look for every possibility to increase traffic and rank of our site. Even though there are so many modern games out there, I believe most of us have been playing minesweeper before. Well, if you haven’t played it, I hope you know about it. This game is a bundled game which is provided by windows. I don’t know what windows have this game by default but I believe the game is already bundled since Windows 3.x until XP. I don’t know whether the Vista or Windows 7 have it. Well, in the case you don’t know about it the last effort is just go to the any computer with windows installed. The minesweeper should be located in Start menu -> All Programs -> Games. You should find it unless the administrator of the computer removes the game.

The basic idea of this game is to open all the places which are not planted with a bomb. If you found up a number when you open the grid, that means there are that many bombs near that opened grid and you have to be careful when opening other grid. By using logic, it’s possible to find all the bombs. However there is ambiguous state when we can’t determine where the exact location of the bomb is and we have to gamble our decision. Yeah I know its condition that we hate most and I’m here to share my past experience with minesweeper.
